While he’s dazed and confused, attack him again from behind and that should end the boss fight. Press the right bumper to craft it and then throw it at Konstantin when he’s not looking. The X button should highlight where you can pick it up. There should be some grenades that you can craft that are on the floor. This is because you can craft some some some grenades. Press it and Lara will attack Konstantin.Īfter a bit of a struggle, Konstantin will destroy the two pillars. From the top of the pillar, you should see a prompt to press the Y button. If his laser sights are pointing down on the ground, this means he cannot see you.

Climb on top of one of them before Konstantin sees you. Freeing the third trebuchet from the ice in order to destroy the gate in the Lost City. During the first part of the fight, look out for two pillars on each side of the room. Konstantin is tougher than Lara and the melee attacks are useless when he sees her. You also have to try and avoid being seen with his laser sights.įirst of all, don’t press Y and go do melee attacks head-on. This fight is a bit tricky because Konstantin confiscates her weapons. Ill probably try another playthrough and wait until the postgame, back it up to the usb and THEN do all of the challenges. I did see a few posts about this on the Square Enix forum for the game, but no further info about possible causes or any upcoming fixes. Now Lara Croft has to fight Konstantin be herself. It popped on 'Difference of Opinion' (burn the posters in the mill), so I don't think it's that one. Following up on Crystal Dymanics prequel/reboot to the Lara Croft saga, this second game picks up the story following the events of the first game. I wonder if this caused some confusion in the game, because it marked the challenge as completed, but I didn't actually 'do' anything.Īssuming that it's a challenge itself that is bugging out in the count and not something completely random, it would have to be one of the first six challenges (Syria, Siberian Wilderness, Soviet Installation x4) since those were the ones I had when 'Looking for Trouble' popped late for me. This meant that as I stealth-killed the first three, they were auto-looted. Since I did everything I could before advancing the story, I'm pretty sure I had an extra skill point or two and picked up Efficient Killer by the time the Trinity guys attack your base camp. One theory - the only 'weird' challenge I could think of among my first six (on the initial playthrough) was 'Grab and Go' in the Siberian Wilderness. Then I saved the completed game to PSN, hoping that, if the glitch is triggered by doing something as part of the challenges themselves (rather than something completely unrelated), at least I would be able to restart the challenges from scratch without having to beat the game a third time. I did literally nothing except charge through the game (no relics/docs/anything, not even finishing what parts of challenges I could easily do so on the way, because who knows what triggers the glitch). It did take about 5-6 hours for the main playthrough, then another 1.5-2 hours to go through the challenges themselves. With a couple USB drives available, deleting everything and starting fresh isn't really a problem since it can be so easily restored. Given that reloading the save and deleting/reinstalling didn't work, it was possible that the bug was saved in the profile, which I would think covers all save slots. I just finished the second run and it did pop this time (literally - the last two minutes or so were Trophy pop, fist pump, refresh this thread, start posting).

Hate it when you are punished even you have done everything right:mad: Edited Octoby bard8392 Personally I am giving the second run a try since people say it takes somewhere around 5 hours with the lowest difficulty. This is the last trophy keeping me away from the platinum. What he did is saving the new game in the second save slot. I have got a friend who had the same glitch and did a speed run for all challenges, he got the trophy popped without deleting the old 100% save. My plan is as follows:ġ) Save my 100% game to USB and delete everything local (including profile)Ģ) Run through the game as quickly as possible without touching anythingģ) Save completed game (w/ no challenges) to cloudĤ) Run through all challenges and hope it popsĭid anyone else who had this glitch manage to get it to work later, through any means? So, now I'm working on an adventurer speed run. Reloading a save right before finishing the last one didn't work, even after deleting and reinstalling the game. I was pretty sure it was going to, because I'm positive that when 'Challenging' popped (do 5 challenges), it was after my sixth completed challenge, so one of the first ones I did didn't count at all.
